CANCELLED - Karakoram - An Opera In One Act

Seven year old Everett and his family were planning on taking a trip to the mountainous region of Karakoram. Everett’s older brother, William, had scared and taunted Everett so much with tails of the Yeti that he refuses to go with them. While on the mountain, Everett’s family mysteriously disappeared. Everett was convinced that his family's disappearance was the result of the creature.
1959, Everett, now a reporter, has just received word of the disappearance of a group of climbers, coincidentally on the same mountain his family had gone missing on. This time however, there is a survivor, a young girl, Melissa.
Melissa’s story of how she could sense the creature watching them persuades Everett to go up the mountain to investigate. An encounter with the creature spurs on his deep obsession with revenge. Melissa wants to help Everett gain proof of the creature’s existence and solve the mystery of Karakoram.
